PBHA’s Deaf Awareness Club is a student-run organization dedicated to raising awareness about Deaf culture among the Harvard community and spearheading initiatives to make the university more accessible for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing. DAC offers a weekly ASL Table and a wide range of educational and social events. DAC members attend Deaf events around the greater Boston area and form relationships with members of the Deaf community.

Comp Process

The Deaf Awareness Club has no comp for participants and an application for board members.

Membership Experience

DAC provides financial support for Harvard students who attend Deaf events around the Greater Boston area. We cover transportation fees to Deaf events and Deaf Culture educational events at Boston University, Northeastern University, etc. DAC is dedicated to ensuring that all students have access to education about Deaf Culture and can form connections in the Deaf Community.
