Grays Hall, an Elm Yard first-year dorm, is located near Matthews and Weld.
Grays is located close to Massachusetts Avenue, J.P. Licks, Mike's Pastry, and Smith Campus Center.

Grays has a common room, which contains a flat-screen TV, full-size kitchen, and ping-pong table. Grays also houses two student life offices in its Lower Level: the Serenity and Mindfulness Room and the Office of BGLTQ Student Life.
Affectionately known as the "Harvard Hilton", Grays is known for having spacious rooms, hardwood floors, large windows facing Harvard Yard, and fire escape balconies. Room configurations include suites of quads and quints with in-suite bathrooms and large common rooms.
The hall houses about 100 students, split into three vertical entryways: Grays East, Grays Middle, and Grays West. Grays Middle contains 5 floors, while East and West each contain 4 floors.
Built in 1863, the hall became the College's first building with water taps in the basement.
