Fall Comp? Yes
Spring Comp? Yes

SAA looks to spread all forms of South Asian culture to the rest of the Harvard community. Through events of all shapes and sizes, such as Andaaz, our annual fashion show, Chai and Chaat, our monthly discussion forum, and Ghungroo, the largest student run production on campus, we have opportunities for everyone to get involved.

Comp Process

SAA has an no comp process - join in the fall, spring, whenever you want! Just come to events and meet the people in the community!

Organizational Structure

The organizational structure of SAA is one where the executive board consists of two Co-Presidents, Treasurer, Secretary, various Chair positions who take point on specific events, and First-year Reps. At the beginning of the school year, you can all apply to be Frosh Reps and have input while planning events throughout the year.

Ghungroo! Ghungroo is out annual cultural show where we showcase South Asian dance, music, acting, and more to the greater Harvard community, including students, parents, faculty, staff, and alumni! It is the largest student-run production on campus and features tons of fun dance troupes with members from all backgrounds in the Harvard community. It's always an amazing time to get involved, meet so many people, and just have a lot of fun!
