HUSC is a space dedicated to uplifting student songwriters and singer-songwriters of all experience levels. The club comes together to find inspiration, learn new skills, share their craft, and listen to the incredible work of peers. Three singer-songwriters founded the collective during the 2019-2020 academic year when they realized there was no established community of songwriters on campus; join HUSC and use your voice to help shape its future!

Comp Process

Come whenever you can! No comp.

Organizational Structure

HUSC is a community of peers, but we do have a small board of three Co-Presidents, a Fundraising Director, and an Operations Manager. Once back on campus, HUSC also plans to form workshop groups which will break out from some regular meetings to share music in a more intimate setting.

Highlights

"Unfortunately, COVID-19 forced us to leave just before our first workshops, but even in quarantine, we've managed to build community by sharing our favorite music and getting to know each other virtually."

"In the coming months, we're hoping to start sharing some of what we've been working on at home, and we're looking forward to more events when we're back on campus — workshops, open mics, guest artists, and more!"
